Base-building and Outreach
Building the power of Black workers is at the heart of our work. The base-building and outreach committee focuses on street outreach, relationship building, and leadership development with local Black workers.
Education
The education committee is devoted to developing education and local knowledges as essential tools for liberation. This committee focuses on raising the consciousness and developing the leadership of local Black workers and our larger community through popular education models. This committee facilitates community conversations, know your rights trainings, film screenings, workshops, etc.
Research
This committee creates community-based & engaged research to build our collective analysis of the state of Black workers in Baltimore.
Media, Arts, & Culture
What’s a movement without a message, song, poetry, or compelling energy? This committee has two major priorities including: (1) shifting the narrative about Black work & Black workers in Baltimore and; (2) gather and share the stories of the plight and fight of Black workers through original art, media, and culture.
